Li-S Energy represents an opportunity to invest in this rapidly growing rechargeable battery market in new, advanced technology with a significant range of applications. The exponential demand for batteries is undeniable as we strive towards net carbon zero goals. Reports^ show:

^Advanced Materials and Battery Council: State of the Advanced Materials and Battery Sector in Queensland 2022

Extended performance

Li-S batteries that extend performance beyond the fundamental limits of Li‑ion technology are essential for the transformation of aviation.

Clean energy investment

According to the IEA, global investment in clean energy will increase from $1.4 trillion in 2022 to $4.5 trillion per year by 2030.

Increased EV sales

EV sales are forecast to grow nearly 50% each year between now and 2030.

Increased batteries for transport

Investment in batteries for transport alone will increase from around $13 billion to nearly $370 billion a year by 2030.

Pathway to success

Our journey towards commercialisation is well underway. Testing of our new lithium sulfur battery in single and then ten-layer pouch cells has already shown substantially improved energy capacity, performance, stability, and cycle life. Our next step? Establishing our 2MWh battery production facility which will allow us to manufacture prototype cells for further assessment and use within our test partners’ technology.
