We’re excited to announce a major step forward in next-generation undersea power.
Li-S Energy has partnered with UK underwater vehicle specialist MSubs Ltd – a global leader delivering advanced UUV and USV platforms for the UK MoD, US Navy and USSOCOM – to put our lithium sulfur technology to the test in one of the harshest environments on Earth: the deep ocean.
As part of this collaboration, MSubs’ specialised pressure-test chamber is heading to our Geelong facility, where we’ll subject our Li-S cells to extreme, submarine-depth pressure and multi-day mission endurance profiles.
If the trials perform as expected, Li-S Energy batteries will be evaluated for integration into MSubs’ current and future platforms – opening the door to a new era of power solutions for unmanned undersea systems.
We’re proud to be working alongside one of the world’s most respected undersea innovators as we expand Li-S technology into this critical domain.
